Cash-based physical therapy means you pay directly for your treatment, without involving your insurance. This lets us focus 100% on providing you with the care that you need and deserve, without any restrictions from insurance companies that don’t necessarily know you or all that you have been going through.
First of all, frankly, insurance companies don’t care about you. With insurance-based (in-network) care, your treatment is often limited to what’s covered, not what’s best for you. With cash-based physical therapy, you get personalized care without restrictions, ensuring the focus is on what you truly need for recovery.
Second, in-network clinics are often limited to treating just a specific injury, but your body works as a whole. With cash-based care, you get a comprehensive approach that addresses all variables (physical, psychological, and environmental) that may be affecting your performance and recovery, not just the one listed on a prescription.
Finally, your time is valuable and you deserve focused, individualized attention. With cash-based physical therapy, you get 1-on-1 treatment provided by a Doctor of Physical Therapy every session, allowing you to see progress faster and get back to running stronger and pain-free, sooner.
While we don’t directly bill insurance, you can still use your out-of-network benefits on your own. Upon request, we’ll provide you with a detailed receipt, called a "superbill," which you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. It’s a good idea to check with your insurance provider to see what they’ll cover!
Concierge physical therapy is like having your own personal PT. You get customized, 1:1 care that’s designed around you, your goals, and your schedule. This could mean in-person visits at our facility, mobile therapy in your own space, or even virtual/telehealth visits. It’s all about making the therapy process as convenient and effective as possible for you.
Our standard price is $200 per session. We offer discounts on packages of visits ranging from 8-24 sessions.
We recommend packages because most running-related and musculoskeletal issues aren’t fixed in just one session. A package allows us to follow a clear treatment plan, monitor your progress, and on each session for long-term results. It also offers better value and helps you stay consistent—because lasting change requires more than a quick fix.
Dry needling is a technique where we use thin filament needles to target those tight, sore spots in your muscles (called trigger points). It helps address persistent muscle tension, boosts blood flow, and modulates pain. Unlike acupuncture, which is based on traditional Chinese medicine, dry needling is based in Western medicine and is all about getting rid of muscle knots and helping you move and feel better! We like to think of dry needling as the “Ctrl+Alt+Delete” and exercise as the “software update” that when combined together accelerate your healing process.
I am so thankful for Dr. Brooke and First Coast Running Medicine she's the bomb! I was training for a half marathon and was having sharp buttocks and lower back pain. After a few sessions Brooke came up with a game plan to relieve my pain and strengthen my problem areas. I finished my half marathon in AZ pain free and a lot faster than I ever had. If you are looking for long term success this is the PT I would choose.
From the moment I met Dr. Brooke in consultation, I knew she was fully committed to her craft and extremely knowledgeable. She listens to you as the patient and really strives to individualize her treatment plan based on your actual needs. Brooke has a bubbly and energetic personality. She makes PT fun which I didn't think was possible. She's helped me get through some of the toughest pain and has taught me things that have helped me to minimize my risk of injury while exercising. I am grateful to have met Dr. Brooke and would highly recommend.
Working with Dr. Brooke has been one of the best investments I could have made for myself. She has taught me so much about my personal fitness and recovery. Even when dealing with injuries, I always walk away with a plan and feel more encouraged. She has been accessible and helpful in changing up my plans depending on my progress or any new concerns. In my time working with her I have seen my running improve and made progress towards my personal strength goals. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that is setting new fitness or running goals and/or dealing with nagging injuries.
